Hi, I'm Wensu

A Little About Me

I’m the Public Relations Intern at Fastrack PR and the Student Web Editor & UX Designer on the University of Southern California (USC) Product Strategy & Design team. I graduate from USC this coming December, majoring in Public Relations and Advertising with a minor in Web Development. I grew up in Chino Hills, California, where I spent school nights at my parent’s restaurant and weekends in Chinatown with my grandparents. From reading Geronimo Stilton books behind the cash register to joining my grandparents’ community Mahjong club, I found passion in communication and human connection. Those early experiences carried into my high school and college years, where storytelling became a way to make meaningful impact in the world around me: developing outreach campaigns for student organizations, designing graphics for my campus, and creating branding for local businesses. Now, I’m dedicated to crafting PR strategies to engage audiences, foster meaningful connections, and amplify stories that inspire.

Outside of work and academics, I love to root myself in other creative outlets including baking, sourdough making, and ikebana to help me think in new ways and inspire innovative ideas in my work. I also enjoy weightlifting, hiking, and snowboarding.

My Values

Do What You Love Until You Love What You Do.

Passion grows through practice and consistency, so invest in the work that excites you and let that commitment shape your craft.

Stay curious.

Be a sponge. Experiment, learn, and take steps to continuously develop yourself. Every article,
conversation, and experience becomes an opportunity to grow and push your craft forward.

Find joy in the process.

Give yourself permission to pause and experiment. The best ideas come when you dont force creativity, and satisfaction blooms from the learning curves, failures, and discomfort.

Care ruthlessly about every single detail.

Magic happens when youre meticulous. Approaching your craft with a fine-toothed comb brings out its true quality.

Designing for emotion is how great stories become loved.

Stories are how we make sense of change. A story has emotion, meaning, and structure. This is the quest and craft of storytelling.
